When hopes were all high that INDIANS would continue their  good spell in the hockey world cup , Australians kicked right where it hurts the most. Australians defeated india 5:2 in the pool B match played today. The australians showed efficiency and control in every angle of the game.

Australia were quick with their kangaroo moves and showed immense speed as they were two goals up right within the first 7  minutes of the game. The Australians were successful in increasing the lead as they prowled further.

Indians tried hard to breach the Australian defense but were unable to do so after many tries.
