Holi had warmth ,  surprises and good wishes across the nation but it also had the pleasant news of INDIA beating PAKISTAN  4:1.  It was the very stadium where pakistan humiliated india 7:1 in the   1982  Asian games.

Hockey india has gone through a lot of restructuring and in the past few days we had seen a lot of verbal fights and  media touchdowns from the administration and the players.

But the good news is all is not lost. The players have gathered their momentum and have proved int her first match that if there be will and if there be good support from the required quarters , players do perform .

The awareness towards supporting sports and providing the right infrastructure has finally hit the right ears and we also have seen active participation form Industrial houses. They have come forward with support and resources as and when required by any sport in india.

The start has been on a great note and we hope we have more results like this in the following matches.
