He did not ask to be forced into blindnesss, and he certainly did not ask to be subjected to the brand of severe social ignorance and bigotry evidenced by your comment.

Man listening to him explain his feelings and his fears on that day, the fact that well he no longer has to worry about that any more because its already happened- he is so smart and articulate – he is explaining things in a way that most adults cannot express !! what a thoughtful intelligent person, being able to accept what has happened and go on with life in a way we cant even fathom
OH my lord – that boy IS a true inspiration – he has fought so hard and had to suffer so many times through treatment and still is able to remain so strong – and the little children do teach us, with their strength greater than ours – suffering but still trying to comfort those around him instead of asking “why me” – we can all learn something from this young man’s courage and fortitude, unending resiliance, and his extra special way of “seeing” life – thank you for this story – bless Jakes ♥
